Girona - Els Angels Mountain Sanctuary Cycle Route

Girona - Els Angels - Sta Pellaia

Els Angels is the obvious mountain to climb from Girona.

Of course, some of us would just do the mountain and leave it at that. Others might continue...
Leave Girona on road to Madremanya, via Els Angels mountain, continue to Monells amd St Sadurní de l'Heura. Go up to Sta Pellaia and descend to Cassà de la Selva to take the road back to Girona. 58kms (big hill!)

Girona Medieval Villages Route - 88kms (more or less as you wish)

Cycle from the centre of Girona and back, visiting a whole sequence of gorgeous picturesque medieval villages - you can add more or take away, according to how long you want to cycle. Pubol is a possible alternative route and you have Dali's Castle to visit there. It is mostly flat with a variety of places to eat en route.
