Greenways cycle routes

There are 4:

OLOT - GIRONA
This 57-km route crosses three regions and twelve towns, following the valleys of the Fluvià, Brugent and Ter rivers. The Narrow-Gauge Railway Route descends smoothly from Olot (440 m) to Girona (70 m). Its highest point is at Coll d'en Bas, which is a pass situated 558 metres above sea level. http://www.gironagreenways.org/

Girona - Sant Feliu de Guixols
The Narrow-Gauge Railway Route stretches out 39.7 km. With a smooth incline from Girona to Sant Feliu de Guíxols (15 m), its highest point is at Cassà de la Selva (136 m). Following the old narrow-gauge railway line from Girona to Sant Feliu, you can get to know two of Girona's regions - the Gironès and the Baix Empordà - from the Ter River basin, crossing the Selva depression and ending in the Ridaura valley.

Palamos - Palafrugell
The “little train” greenway runs for 6 km between Palamós and Palafrugell along the disused narrowgauge railway track formerly linking Palamós with Girona via La Bisbal d’Empordà. The route goes through the municipal areas of Palamós, Mont-ras and Palafrugell, with branch greenways leading off to Vall-llòbrega and Castell and La Fosca beaches.

Ripoll - Sant Joan de les Abadesses - Ogassa
The Iron and Coal Route, in reference to the important ironworking tradition of the Baix Ripollès region and the mining of coal at Ogassa, follows the route that was once plied by the train. The 12 km of railway have been transformed into an ideal trail for enjoying a long walk or bicycle ride, and for reminding us of the industrial past that is an important part of our heritage.
